Bearing housing

The slewing bearing housing is a large and extra-large bearing housing capable of withstanding comprehensive loads, featuring a unique structure. It boasts characteristics such as compact design, smooth rotation, and convenient installation and maintenance. Wherever there is a bearing, there must be a support point. The internal support point of the bearing is the shaft, while the external support is commonly referred to as the bearing housing.

Since a single bearing can be paired with various bearing housings, and a bearing housing can accommodate different types of bearings, this leads to a wide variety of bearing housing options. Fast and easy access is available, and many major international bearing companies also maintain their own bearing housing catalogs. However, the same bearing housing model may not be marked identically across different company samples. For different application scenarios of standard bearing housings, bearings made from various materials can be selected, such as gray cast iron, ductile iron, cast steel, stainless steel, and specialized plastic bearing housings.

Bearing housings are categorized into: split-type bearing housings, sliding bearing housings, rolling bearing housings, flanged bearing housings, and spherical bearing housings.

Bearing housings are commonly used in large rotating installations such as lifting and transport machinery, mining and excavation machinery, construction machinery, port machinery, marine equipment, and high-precision radar systems.
