Wind power generation, as a clean energy source to address global warming, is constantly developing worldwide.

Wind turbines can be huge machines. At present, some 2MW turbines have blade lengths close to 40 meters and rotor hub heights of 60-100 meters. Turbines are also heavy: the weight of a single unit may exceed 200 tons. Wind turbine bearings are designed specifically to match these large structures, with apertures ranging from 100-700 millimeters and widths of 2 meters or more.
