Carb roller bearing

CARB roller bearings combine the self- aligning capability of an aligning roller bearing with the axial displacement capability of a cylindrical roller bearing. CARB Cabo bearings also have the compact cross section and high load capacity of needle roller bearings. The roller of the CARB bearing can be automatically guided, regardless of whether the bearing ring is misaligned or axial displacement, it can be in a position so that the load is applied equally to the whole roller. The ability to distribute loads favourably keeps friction and the heat generated by friction at low levels. Lower operating temperatures extend the service life of lubricants and bearings.

Technological Advantage

ROKB implements DIN620 standard, CARB bearings are specially used as floating end bearings. It simplifies shaft bearing configurations that are susceptible to thermal expansion/contraction,because axial displacement is allowed within the bearing and there is litle: friction. The bearing system includes spherical roller bearings on the positioning end and CARB Cabo bearings on the floating end to save space and weight and reduce the cost of owniership.
