Solid oil bearing

Rock solid oil bearings, with their continuous lubrication and reduced maintenance requirements, are particularly suitable for applications with high humidity, heavy pollution, dust, debris, and stringent requirements for a clean environment. Bearings using solid oil provide lifelong lubrication and cannot be re-lubricated.

Solid oil is produced by injecting polymer material into a bearing through molding. The polymer material absorbs saturated lubricating oil and forms very small gaps around the rolling elements, cage, and raceway, allowing the bearing to rotate freely.

The polymer material of solid oil possesses a porous structure, containing millions of micro-pores. These pores can trap lubricating oil within the polymer material through surface tension, filling almost all the free space inside the bearing. During operation, the lubricating oil is released into very small gaps, providing effective micro-lubrication.
