Cylindrical roller bearing

Cylindrical roller bearings are line-contact bearings with cylindrical rollers and raceways. They have high load capacity and primarily bear radial loads. The rolling elements have low friction with the ring ribs, making them suitable for high-speed rotation. Depending on whether the rings have ribs or not, they can be classified into single-row cylindrical roller bearings such as NU, NJ, NUP, N, and NF, double-row cylindrical roller bearings such as NNU and NN, and heavy-duty four-row cylindrical roller bearings. Cylindrical roller bearings include FC, FCD, and FCDP structures. These bearings have a separable inner and outer ring structure.

Cylindrical roller bearings have linear contact between the rollers and the raceway, with high load capacity, mainly bearing radial loads. The rolling elements have low friction with the ring ribs, making them suitable for high-speed rotation, and they require high coaxiality during use. Cylindrical roller bearings with no ribs on the inner or outer rings allow relative axial movement between the inner and outer rings, making them suitable for use as free-end bearings. Cylindrical roller bearings with double ribs on one side of the inner and outer rings and a single rib on the other side of the ring can bear a certain degree of unidirectional axial load.
